Toxicity to pets
The Glory lily is not part of the lily family that is known for causing kidney failure in cats. However, it contains colchicine like the Autumn crocus and can be just as dangerous. All parts of the plant are toxic, with tubers and seeds containing the highest concentration of alkaloids. The plant remains toxic even when dried. Symptoms can develop in phases or waves and death can result.
